Guitar Hero III

Tim is actually very good and of course has been playing like crazy to perfect it. As of today he has beat the easy level, 40 of 42 songs!

Jordan has also been very good he and I are pretty equal as of now.
Poor Drew can't even get his hands around the guitar. He uses his thumb for every color and he's become very good 92% and completed his first song as of today.

Guitar Hero is fun for all ages!! All of us have been playing this game since Christmas, it is very addicting! Even me, Miss "I know nothing about the PlayStation so don't ask me for any help, ask your dad." Thanks again Santa for a good pick.

Christmas Day-Santa Came!

Drew got his XX2 Jordan's

Grandpa came for lunch.

We love Santa!!

Thank you Santa.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at Lisa's house this year and despite the van breaking down on the way to her house, we had a very nice evening together.

More Christmas Eve

Gabe and Kristen. Notice Drew's new art work on his arm thanks to his Daddy and Kiana's cool tattoo pens.

Grandpa never could wait his turn to open his gifts!

The boys wanted to do a gingerbread house really bad. So of course being in the Christmas spirit I bought a gingerbread house kit. They really didn't have too much interest in making the house and I was according to Tim getting out of the Christmas spirit with all the yelling "Don't bump the table!!" because the house kept falling. So finally Tim fixed it by putting a rubber band around the house and then putting the roof on. They quickly decorated it and then wanted to eat the candy. Wow a lot of work for a few little pieces of candy! But the good news is on Christmas eve when Drew and Kiana wanted to do her gingerbread house I was a pro. We made the icing very thick and I was way more experienced in house building, so we had no problems and no yelling :). So if you are wondering why Jordan was opening up food. We thought that it would be more fun to have Drew and Jordan open a bunch of gag gifts and then finally they would get the one big gift of the PS3 from everyone. So Auntie Lisa and Auntie Shelly arranged for a bunch of food and one ten dollar gift to be a little believable. They were good little boys and said thank you for every box of pies, pop tarts and candy they got. Then we all went around and everyone else finished their gifts. Then we let them know they had one more gift. The PS3 was the one and only real present of the night, but definitely went over well! Thanks everyone. Jordan was still pondering the food gifts later that night, I had to explain that they were just a joke, and the best part was Kiana kept saying" hey those are mine!!" for every box of snacks that were opened.

Getting Ready for Christmas

Christmas with our friends

For the past few years we've tried to have an annual Christmas gathering. For some reason we all let last year go without planning anything. We were a little bummed after the fact so we startred again this year. Love to hang out with everyone, we missed Rocky & Bret and Christine, John and Joey this year due to the last minute planning. So next year we will think about it sooner. As you can see the kids had fun, Drew maybe a little too much, he couldn't take any more and crashed on the chair. Thanks for hosting Sarah and Jason! Thanks to everyone for a fun night.

Snow Day in Fremont!

Dale hardware in Fremont had a day where they made snow and took a $2.00 donation to go play in the snow.In my mind I imagined a big hill of snow that they could play in. When we arrived there was a huge line to the snow, and then we see this little corner of the parking lot tied off with like 4 inches of snow(or should I say ice) on the ground. The kids wanted to wait for their 30 minutes in the ice. Anyways they had fun and they all had freezing cold hands after the 30 minutes was up. This is snow in Fremont I guess! Although they made an announcement that next year there would be more snow. Can't wait.

The Girls

My friends Tammy and Teri came down to visit from the Sacramento area on Saturday. It was somewhat of a last minute plan, but it worked out that we were all able to get together for a couple of hours and go out to lunch. Tim was the only hubby who was there, he had planned to go to a football game but hung out with us instead. Jason met up with us later. Teri is expecting her first son in March, yeah! We love the children for keeping us young. Although I'm not sure wether it is the children or the husbands, but every time we get together we end up having some pretty big ball fights or nerf ball gun wars, or dodge ball, so this was a pretty tame visit for us. We still feel like we are 19 and MAYBE even act like we are 19 every now and then! Sometimes I wonder if the kids think that they have the coolest parents ever or the craziest parents ever!? Someday I'm sure they'll let us know. We had a great day and loved seeing everyone. Love you all.

Drew's 6th Birthday Party at Kids Castle

Drew wanted so bad to have his party at Kids Castle. It is not my place of choice, but Tim convinced me that it was the right thing to do. So we had a wild party to say the least. The kids loved it. They were all sweaty and they all had dirty feet and or socks by the end of the night. He loved it. We all had card board pizza and yummy cupcakes (they really were yummy they were funfetti) and reminded ourselves that it was all for the love of Drew! Thanks for suffering, Oh I mean thanks for coming everyone! (It wasn't all bad just the little girls dressed like prostitutes and the bad music from the live one man band!)

Drew's 6th Birthday!

Friday night after Thanksgiving was the birthday party for Drew (6) and his cousin Graydon (2). We went Pee Wee golfing and to the Ice Creamery in Castro Valley. The kids had a blast golfing, so did Grandpa, and we froze our buns off and then went for some yummy toasted almond ice cream! Luckily you can't buy that in the stores or I would have a huge problem. Graydon was so funny about his present. The only thing that Sarah told me he would like right now was animals. So of course I was on a hunt for any kind of animals I could get. Target happened to have these cute little back packs with a ton a of animals in them. He was so excited about them, we are still not sure if it was the animals or the back pack he liked more! We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa and the boys were spoiled rotten! But, as Mary says that is what grandparents are for.
