Jordan's First Football Game

49ers VS. Falcons......
I have no idea if Jordan is even in this picture?! So hard when they move so fast. Jordan #20 checking with the ref for something? Not sure of all the rules even after 2 years of watching him play already.

Just chattin' up.....look at those tiny little butts :)

Jordan is the bottom left side in this one, he is playing offense and defense this year. He is wide receiver and corner back. He had a great game on Sat. against the falcons, probably one of the top two or three for tackles.

I have to say that I might be a little more into football games then baseball. I definitely see the talent more in baseball because it is such a slow game, but football is so fast and action packed! I guess having boys suits me just fine. I'm the crazy Mom screaming on the sidelines for every little thing that Jordan does." Tim did you see that? Did you see that, that was Jordan." Love my boys.

My Hand Mystery Solved....

Here are some lovely pictures of my birth mark! Ugly birth mark......
Normal hand....
And ugly hand again, can't figure out how to delete a duplicate picture!
So..... last Tuesday I went to Stanford to meet with an interventional radiologist, Dr. David Hovsepian. I took with me records from Kaiser, MRI, and a contrast angiogram. He knew immediately what was wrong with my hand. Yeah for Stanford knowing all the weirdest stuff out there! It is what they call a Congenital Vascular Malformation (CVM), which happens in barley 1% of all births. So yes it is sort of a birth defect, or they like to say birth mark. I knew I was a freak of nature! Anyways he is very familiar with them, they tend to be in the extremities, and usually become an issue in the late teens. I can't remember when I first noticed it I just know it has been at least 11-12 years and it is progressivley getting worse. I have a really ugly " bump" on the back of my hand which everyone usually notices, but I also have the underside of my wrist that is always extremely swollen and then on my forearm there is another spot where I have a lot of pain, and the number one reason I was concerned was that my middle finger does not extend in the flexed position. He feels like he can start to treat it slowly. It will be a surgical procedure know as sclaratherapy (don't know the spelling exactly), and it unfortunately means they have to do more than one procedure most likely. They go in with a needle and with an active contrast x-ray and will burn a vein with alcohol, and hopefully rid me of some of them. The risks are that the alcohol burns my skin, hits a nerve and causes nerve damage or hits a vein he doesn't want with some leakage. He feels that we can start in the underside of my wrist to hopefully stop the problem with my middle finger not being able to extend fully in a flex position. He says he likes to be cautious and do a little at a time, Kaiser should approve it since they didn't even know what it was. The scary part for me is being put to sleep! Oh well, this is probably the most BORING blog entry ever, but now you know, I know, we all know that I am a FREAK!

Firsts...First Day of 5th Grade, First Day of 2nd Grade and...first time Jordan went to Cal Bears Stadium!

Jordan was nice enough to bring his brother a poster too! Jordan started the 5th Grade!! I can't even believe it. Drew is a big second grader as of today.
The boys sported their new shoes today, they look the same but they really are different.I don't think that Jordan is really into matching with Drew these days.
Jordan also got a really fun opportunity today to go to a Cal Bears football practice and be on the field with the players. After their practice Jordan and his teammates were able to get autographs!! Here is his new prized possession!! He had a blast, got to talk with the strength and conditioning coach, the baseball coach, and one smart coach told him that the most important thing is to get good grades!! Jordan told him that he could get used to this school and he'd like to go there! Let's go CAL! I love that he was able to do this and that maybe it may motivate him especially being a new school year. Lucky kid. Now he's dying to go to a game, and Tim and I are with him on that we had so much fun last year.
Yeah I'm cool.

Bubba looking all perfect and stiff! What a funny kid. He makes me laugh.

Just a little brotherly love before our first day of school. :)

Jeff and Christy's Wedding

( I accidently posted the pictures in reverse order!!OOPS!)
Last weekend Tim and I went for the weekend to celebrate Jeff and Christy's wedding! They are so good together we wish them the best in life! Congratulations! Thanks to my sister Lisa for keeping the boys for us, we were able to drive up to Dixon on Friday night and meet up with Tad and Shawn Chance, Aaron O. and his wife Lindy, Doug and Jeff and have dinner and drinks. We haven't seen Doug in like 12 or more years so that was fun to catch up. On Saturday was the vows and reception (the secret was they were already married a few weeks ago). We had a great time. I hardly even saw Tim the whole time he was catching up with old buddies as you can see in the pictures lots of people we haven't seen in years, and a lot that I have no pictures of as well. I danced a little bit with Sandy, Mary Amyx, Tad, Doug, and even Christy's nephew Mateo, but never did I meet Tim on the dance floor!! As usual. Anyways it was a nice weekend getaway for Tim and I , and all for a good cause. Thanks Lisa and Dave for having the boys, they had fun as always.

Twain Harte, look out here we come....

We had to torture the kids with a family picture, it's tradition!

Here I said hey guys lets have a group hug! They all chose somebody to hug instead.

I think that Uncle Tim was a winner in Buster's book! I love this one.
This was a sneak attack picture of Gredtel since she doesn't like taking pictures.

Clayton and baby Mayzie! She was so good.

The Cabin and the Lake....so fun!

Look at these cute kids!
Drew took a few of these next shots, good job Bubba!

Buster conquered a few fears at the lake, one was the lake, and the other was he touched the blow up boat! Good job Buster, you are sooo cute.
Here Jordan is going to catch Graydon! What a nice cousin.
